Veterans Day Note from Brian Bulatao

Nov 11, 2021

In honor of Veterans Day, today, in the U.S., and Remembrance Day in the U.K., Canada, and Australia, among other countries, Chief Administrative Officer Brian Bulatao shared a note with veterans in the Activision Blizzard ranks to thank them for their service, and to underscore the company’s commitment to this community.

All,

I wanted to take a moment today, on both Veterans Day and Remembrance Day, to recognize all who have selflessly served and sacrificed to ensure our freedom, security, and prosperity, including you. I understand the extraordinary commitments veterans have made, and I thank you all for your professionalism and sense of duty.

Your spirit of service and personal integrity continues to inspire us all and to set an example that contributes to the mission and culture of ABK. Our leadership team is passionate about making an impact on the lives of veterans in return. It’s one of the reasons I believe in this company.

It’s also the principle behind the Call of Duty Endowment, which helps veterans find high-quality jobs, as well as our Veterans Day of Service which enables us and our colleagues to make a difference in the lives of those of us who have served.

We will continue to invest in the veterans who have given so much to our country, and in all of you who make ABK a better place. Thank you for your service and your continued commitment.

Best,

Brian

Regardless of when or where one has served, service to one’s nation forges a bond of fellowship that is immediate and binding. Sledgehammer Games’ Ryan Ferriera, a combat veteran himself, and now a Senior Concept Artist who most recently worked on the just released Call of Duty: Vanguard, spoke to Joe Segal, a WWII veteran, whose grandson Rob Schonfeld is a senior leader at Activision Blizzard.

As you can tell in this discussion, the camaraderie among veterans is timeless.

To those who have served, and to those who serve today, Thank you!
